This Privacy Policy explains what information SprinklerBlueprint ("we", "us") collects when you use our DIY irrigation design tool, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the tool you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Property address & map data. When you enter an address, we use it to fetch satellite imagery and create your design. We store the address, the approximate coordinates, and the design you create (boundaries, sprinkler layout, parts list).
• Optional contact details. If you email your plan or use the contact form, we store the email address and message you provide.
• Usage & device data. Like most websites, we automatically log your IP address, browser/user-agent, referring page, and timestamps for security, abuse-prevention, and analytics.

How we use it

• To generate, save, and let you re-open or share your irrigation design.
• To estimate local professional-installation costs for your area.
• To respond to messages you send us.
• To operate, secure, and improve the service, and to comply with legal obligations including affiliate-disclosure rules.

Third-party services

To provide the tool we share limited data with service providers:

• Google Maps Platform — for geocoding, satellite imagery, and the interactive map (subject to Google's Privacy Policy).
• AI providers — a satellite image and your system specs are sent to an AI model to detect your lawn and estimate costs. We do not send your name or contact details for this.
• Advertising (Google AdSense), if shown — third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings.
• Amazon Associates — product links are affiliate links; Amazon may set cookies when you click them. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep your session and saved-design link working. Third parties listed above may set their own cookies. You can control cookies in your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break the designer.

Data retention & your choices

We keep design and log data for as long as needed to run the service and meet legal requirements. You may request that we delete the data tied to your address or email by contacting us — see the Contact page. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information (e.g., under GDPR or CCPA); contact us to exercise them.

Children

This service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy; we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
