These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SprinklerBlueprint website and DIY irrigation design tool (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

The Service is a free planning tool that helps you design a do-it-yourself sprinkler or drip-irrigation layout, generates an estimated parts list and blueprint, and estimates costs. It is an informational planning aid only.

2. Not professional advice

We are not a licensed irrigation contractor, engineer, or surveyor. Designs, measurements, pressure/flow calculations, part quantities, and cost estimates are approximations generated automatically and may be inaccurate. You are responsible for verifying every measurement, pressure and flow requirement, product compatibility, and local code or permit requirement before purchasing parts or installing anything.

3. Safety & "Call 811"

Installing irrigation involves digging, water, and sometimes electrical connections. Always call 811 (or your local utility-locating service) before you dig so underground utilities can be marked. You assume all risk associated with installing and operating any system you build.

4. Estimates & pricing

Part prices, availability, professional-installation estimates, and savings figures are estimates only and change over time and by location. Always confirm current prices with the retailer before buying. We do not guarantee any particular cost or savings.

5. Affiliate links

Some product links are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate and through other programs, we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you. We are not responsible for third-party sellers, products, shipping, or returns.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: scraping or automated bulk access, attempting to breach security, overloading our systems, submitting unlawful content, or using the Service to infringe others' rights. We may suspend access for any misuse.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, and its content are owned by us or our licensors. The design you create from your own property is yours to use for your personal project.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service or any system you build based on it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed US $100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service or any installation you perform.

11. Changes & governing law

We may update these Terms at any time; continued use means you accept the changes. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which we operate, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
