How we build a guide

We start with a concrete reader task, identify the inputs it needs, explain the calculation or decision, and show what the result cannot establish. We link to primary technical documentation where readers can verify an important claim. Product features may change; a guide is not a substitute for current product documentation.

Examples and evidence

Worked numerical examples are fictional unless explicitly accompanied by a documented test setup and results. We do not present illustrative quotes as customer testimonials. A calculator’s output follows its stated inputs; it does not verify those inputs or observe conditions at your property.

Corrections and updates

Use the contact page to report an error, giving the page URL, the disputed passage, and a source or reproducible example. We review the underlying claim and revise affected text and calculations. An updated date indicates an editorial change, not a guarantee that every linked external document has remained unchanged.
